Nature inspired algorithm for optimization

Course Objectives:Nature inspired algorithm for optimization is an emerging technology recently used in many industries design and Automation. This course is aim to introduce concepts related to evolutionary and nature inspired optimization methods to the participants. Focus will be towards providing hands on training through optimization tool box of MATLAB. Case studies will be presented for the benefit of participants. The course will assist participants to enhance and develop these techniques along with hands-on experience on MATLAB & Simulink environment. By the end of the course the attendants will be able to apply these techniques on different inter-disciplinary applications to boost their research and teaching skills.
Course contents:
Module 1: Introduction to MATLAB and Simulink:
MATLAB Environment, Data variable and Programming.
Simulink Design.
Module 2: Evolutionary Algorithm:
Introduction, Genetic Algorithm, Application, Multi-objective and constrained optimization
Module 3: Nature Inspired Optimization
Particle Swarm Optimization, Cukoo Optimization, Ant
Colony Optimization, Applications.
Module 4: Research Problems
Research direction in different applications
Who can attend: Programme is open to faculty from all
colleges and universities, preferably from Madhya
Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra state. Faculty
members from other states are also eligible. Industry
personnel working in the allied discipline may also apply.
Limited seats are available for research scholars.
